The defense ministers of Lithuania and Germany signed an action plan on the deployment of the Bundeswehr brigade in Vilnius on Monday. It provides that the main transfer of brigade units to Lithuania will take place in 2025-2026. The brigade should settle in Lithuania by 2027.

As indicated in the plan, German soldiers will serve in Rūdninkai and Rukla, some of them will live in Vilnius and Kaunas, additionally logistic points will be created in other parts of Lithuania.

The public opinion and market research company “Spinter research” conducted the survey on the order of the Strategic Communication Department of the Lithuanian Armed Forces on November 17-29. During it, 1015 respondents between the ages of 18 and 75 were interviewed online and by phone.
