Australians who noticed one of their paintings tilted on the wall were surprised to find it wasn’t just a gust of wind that caused the move, but a snake hidden behind.
They then called the Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers organization which comes to capture the reptiles that end up in houses to set them free.
In the video filmed by snake catcher Dan, it is first possible to see the painting tilted slightly forward on the wall. Then, it is while approaching that he discovers the tapestry python stuck behind the frame.
“He was the one pulling your painting down,” Dan told the owners of the house.
He then removed the painting from the wall – with the snake still hanging on it – then untangled it from the hanging wire before catching it.
This kind of intervention seems to be commonplace in this corner of Australia since the organization indicated that Dan had to quickly go to another intervention to move a snake present in a reception center for children.
