Clinical nutrition and mental health consultant, Asmaa Al-Dahdouh, warned once morest exposure to psychological trauma, stressing that it is the cause of many organic diseases.
Al-Dahdouh said in an interview with “The Week”: that people go through psychological trauma for various reasons,
Either for the loss of a loved one, or for severe emotional letdown, or for repeated frustrations, or for shocks with money because of work or trade.
She added: Every surprise followed by strong and unusual feelings is considered a shock, stored in the unconscious mind and causing a series of emotional consequences of physical pain… or a different mood… a view of life that is not the same, a change in sleep times… insomnia or long hours of sleep. A change in the appetite for food, whether by abstaining from it or gluttony in its demand… Excessive sensitivity towards the words of others.
Al-Dahdouh indicated that the inability to return to life normally, or even difficulty in performing daily tasks or performing them without spirit, are sure signs of exposure to trauma.
She explained that some believe that he has overcome his trauma, but is surprised by the opposite when he is exposed to any stimulus or factor that awakens the features of the trauma within him.
And the mental health consultant, Asmaa Al-Dahdouh, says: But this is what I see in many of the repeated mistakes in the cases of many of my followers, negative experiences and repeated divorce, which is followed by a bout of confrontation with oneself, either victory and change for another person, or diving into darkness and dying alive.
