Surprise: The father of the six drowned children in Luxor was the one who was driving

A security source in Luxor Governorate revealed that the father of the six siblings who drowned in the Asfoun Canal in the village of Al-Rawajh in the Qurna district, west of the governorate, was the one who was driving the motorcycle.

The source explained that their mother and grandmother of their father were also with them, but they survived the accident, while the Sunni children and their cousin were killed in the accident.

And 7 children drowned, including 6 brothers, in a motorcycle accident in Asfoun Canal in the village of Al-Rawajh in Al-Qurna Center, west of Luxor Governorate.

The seven children who were killed in Tarat al-Rawajih in Qurna, west of Luxor, are Zakaria al-Hasan Muhammad, Fatima al-Hassan Muhammad, Sarah al-Hassan Muhammad, Hajar al-Hasan Muhammad, Youssef al-Hasan Muhammad, Youssef al-Ra’i Bahi and Ibrahim al-Hasan Muhammad.

An ambulance service in southern Upper Egypt, headed by Dr. Muammar Abdel Hadi, dispatched five ambulances to the site of a motorcycle accident that killed 7 children, including 6 brothers, in the Asfoun Canal in the village of Al-Rawajh in the Qurna district, west of Luxor Governorate.

The efforts resulted in the exhumation of the bodies of two children, between the ages of 11 and 13, and transferring them to the Qurna Central Hospital mortuary, and the exhumation of 5 other bodies of children as young as 14 years old.
