Petrotrade Company for Petroleum Services, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, blew up a pleasant surprise for citizens regarding the monthly installments of prepaid gas meters.
The company said that the deduction of the monthly installments for the delivery of domestic gas from the charging cards of the prepaid meters has been stopped during this period, and for an indefinite period.
This came in response to a query received on the official page of “Petrotrade” company on the social networking platform “Facebook”,
From one of the followers, he says: “I have a gas card with installments, and when charging the premium was deducted automatically, and it appears in the shipping receipt with the premium discount, but I was surprised this month that the premium was not deducted, why?”
Petrotrade responded to the follower’s query regarding the reason for not deducting the installment from the gas meter charging card, by providing a reference to all installments.
Through our communication with the company for further clarification, Petrotrade reiterated that there is a review of all installments now.
She indicated, in statements to Al-Mustaqbal, that the monthly installments will be re-deducted once the review is completed.
The value of the monthly installment for the gas meter
In another inquiry, the page was received by a follower asking regarding the value of the monthly installment that is deducted from the card when installing gas in installments.
Petrotrade replied that the installment is determined according to the number of years of installments.
And according to whether the gas installation was through the National Bank or the holding company.
She pointed out that the value of the premium in the holding company is 30 pounds per month, and the discount continues for 6 years.
