THE comedy horror film produced by Falcon Pictures, Kang Mak From Pee Mak, continues to record brilliant achievements. After 10 days of showing in theaters, this film has successfully reached more than 2.6 million viewers.
As a form of appreciation for the extraordinary support from the audience, the cast of the film Kang Mak From Pee Mak held a special joint viewing event (nobar) with the blind community, on Sunday (25/8). The event was attended by Vino G. Bastian, Marsha Timothy, Indro Warkop, Rigen, Indra Jegel, screenwriter Alim Sudio, and director Herwin Novianto.
“We are very grateful for the enthusiasm of the audience for the film Kang Mak From Pee Mak. This achievement cannot be separated from the support of the entire production team and of course the loyal audience. This joint screening event with blind friends is a form of appreciation and our hope that it can inspire more people,” said Vino as the main actor, in an official statement received, Monday (26/8).
Indro Warkop also expressed his happiness. The senior comedian felt happy about this achievement. For him, it is a happiness for an artist if his work can amaze many viewers.
“It’s really nice, yes, the artist when his work is watched by many people, feels that that is his satisfaction. The number of 2.6 million is a bonus from God,” said Indro.
