Surfers from different clubs animated the third date of the Southern Surfing Circuit held in the Plaza de Rinconada, in Cobquecura, where they challenged the best waves.
In Open men, the champion was Ignacio Bobadilla (Curanipe), followed by Joaquín Reyes (Curanipe), Erick Bustos (Curanipe) and Diego Leyton (Curanipe).
In Open Ladies the champion was María Weiss (Curanipe), escorted by Rocío Placencia (Cobquecura), Javiera Henríquez (Cobquecura) and Alonsa Estobar (Arauco).
Vicente Placencia (Cobquecura) was the winner of the junior men’s category, followed by Benjamín Rojas (Curanipe), Diego Leyton (Curanipe) and Gaspar Hernández (Curanipe)
In Junior Ladies, Maria Weiss (Curanipe), escorted by Alonsa Estobar (Arauco), Amelia Hernandez (Curanipe) and Fernanda Hormazabal (Curanipe) won.
In sub-14, Gaspar Hernández (Curanipe), Bruno Torres (Curanipe), Alonso Ruiz (Arauco) and Franco Rogers (Curanipe) led.
Finally, Tomas Puig (Cobquecura) was the champion, followed by Facundo Acevedo (Curanipe), Luciana Ríos (Pichilemu) and Calén Silva (Curanipe).
Surfer Álvaro Pinochet (in the photo) boarded the best wave of the competition, using all his skill and technique to try to tame it.
