- Justice Yahya Afridi gave his separate decision in which he said that the Election Commission should decide the specific seats following listening to all the parties. He wrote in his decision that it would not be legally appropriate to issue clear orders to the Election Commission.
The decisions of the Supreme Court on Friday that shook the halls of power
-
The order by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa and Justice Jamal Mandukhil supported that the reserved seats should be redistributed but also said (a) PTI did not approach the court, (b) ), members who had declared themselves independent in the nomination papers would be considered independent, and (c) members who had joined the Sunni Unity Council should not be recognized as PTI members. The decision also said that no political party should be facilitated.

In the judgment of Justice Aminuddin and Justice Naeem Akhtar, since the decision of the Peshawar High Court has been upheld and the applications for the specific seats of the Sunni Ittehad Council have been rejected, in the opinion of these two judges, neither the Sunni Ittehad Council nor the P. TIs are entitled to reserved seats.
Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa will not be part of any bench next week, sources
In the judgment of Justice Yahya Afridi, by giving orders to the Election Commission, it has been opposed to giving seats to PTI. So this decision is also not in favor of PTI.
Since the majority of judges i.e. 8, is in favor of allocating reserved seats to PTI, the verdict is the same.
