Supreme Court seeks summary of annual development plan from federal and provincial governments – Pakistan

The Supreme Court of Pakistan has sought the summary of annual development plan from the federal and provincial governments.

In a case related to the issue of development funds in the federation and the four provinces, the court also sought details of block allocation schemes or umbrella schemes.

On this, the Chief Justice of Pakistan remarked that plans must be made, but everything should be under the constitution, if governments change, the plans are suspended, development plans should not be under individual personalities, we are not concerned with what the plans are. Later, the Supreme Court adjourned the hearing of the case for 3 weeks.
