Supreme Court Lawyer Murdered After Filing Sedition Case Against Imran Khan: Latest Updates

KARACHI: A Supreme Court lawyer who filed a sedition case once morest Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan was shot dead on his way to the court. The incident that shocked the nation took place while the court was hearing the case yesterday. Soon following, the lawyer’s son filed a police complaint alleging that Imran Khan was behind the murder.

Abdul Razzaq Sher, who filed a case in Balochistan High Court, was killed. 6 people on 3 bikes shot him at Quetta Airport Road. 16 bullets were recovered from the body.

Following the incident, lawyers boycotted the courts in Balochistan. Abid Kakar, President of Quetta Bar Association stated that Abdul Razzaq had approached the court stating that there was a threat to his life. Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Atullah Tarar alleged that Abdul Razzaq’s murder was related to the case.
