Electronic land CERTIFICATION is a national program to help people have land ownership documents without having to worry if something undesirable happens, such as natural disasters and so on.

As is known, Indonesia is a country prone to natural disasters. Existing data states that throughout 2023, 173 disaster events will occur throughout Indonesia. Flood disasters were in first place with 61 incidents, followed by extreme weather and landslides with 57 and 32 incidents, and tidal waves/abrasion occurred with 4 incidents. Therefore, early vigilance is needed, including saving important documents such as land certificates.

In this regard, the Diponegoro University Notary Alumni Association (Ikanot Undip) initiated the Socialization of Electronic Land Certificates to notaries/PPATs, banking circles, academics, observers and the wider community, at Artotel Gelora Senayan, Jakarta.

“This activity is a form of support to the government so that people can better understand the ins and outs of electronic land certificates,” said General Chairperson of Ikanot Undip Otty Hari Chandra Ubayani, in Jakarta, Friday (4/5).

He hopes that this outreach can help the public to better understand the benefits of electronic land certificates.

Not only that, the Undip Ikanot Central Management held a healthy walk with the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) and his wife Anissa Larasati Pohan, around Gelora Bung Karno, Saturday (4/5) .
