Hyundai Motor Group supported hosting the 2030 Busan World Expo (Expo) using a specially produced art car at the 18th G20 Summit held in New Delhi, India.
Hyundai announced today (10th) that it has selected the IONIQ 5, an exclusive electric vehicle produced at its Chennai plant in India, as its art car vehicle to emphasize the vision of the Busan Expo under the theme of ‘Great Transformation of the World, Voyage to a Better Future’. .
In collaboration with Korea’s leading graffiti artist, Jay Flow, the vehicle was decorated with graffiti works depicting major symbols of Busan, such as Gwangan Bridge and seagulls, and wrapped with the slogan ‘BUSAN is Ready’.
The Art Car will tour around the G20 Summit venue and major areas in New Delhi to inform people of major countries, tourists, and locals about the need to host the Busan Expo.
Hyundai Motor Group previously supported Expo hosting with vehicles in Jakarta, Indonesia, where the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) summit was held, and at the Paris International Exhibition Organization General Assembly in June.
