Cabezas described González as a “great Venezuelan” with an outstanding diplomatic career and the serenity necessary to lead the country’s democratic transition.

He also praised the unity of the democratic political parties and the leadership of figures such as María Corina Machado, who have maintained the electoral route in the face of the challenges imposed by the current Chavista regime. According to Cabezas, this union is a testament to Venezuela’s determination to overcome the “destruction” and “suffering” that he attributes to the administration of Nicolás Maduro.

“They have been able to do what the government did not expect to do, keeping us on the electoral path and staying united in the national objective, in the objective of liberating Venezuela,” he said.

In this sense, he urged citizens to actively participate in the electoral process, highlighting the importance of voting for the “Unity card.”

“Therefore, we are democratically and civilly obliged, all of us who at this moment aspire to change, to support the candidacy of Edmundo González,” he pointed out.
