The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Iran, Major General Hossein Salami, strongly condemned terrorist attack who targeted the shrine of Sayyid Ahmad bin Musa al-Kadhim (peace be upon him) in the city of Shiraz in the south of the country, stressing that the commanders and supporters of this crime will be punished for their shameful deeds.
In a statement, Major General Salami offered his condolences to Imam Al-Hajjah bin Al-Hassan (may God have mercy on him) and to Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei And to all the Iranian people, especially the families of the martyrs of this terrorist incident.
The commander of the Revolutionary Guards said, “This brutal crime is an indication that the enemies of the pride, power and progress of the Islamic Republic of Iran will not leave a crime unless they commit it to achieve their satanic goals, even if that is by killing defenseless men, women and children during prayer and supplication to God, the Blessed and Exalted, at the tombs of the people of the Prophet’s house.” r) and burn them with their blood.
He added that while we strongly condemn this crime, we address those who stand behind it and support it that the fire of anger and vengeance of the conscious Iranian people will pay them the penalty for their shameful act, as this people has worked to thwart the last conspiracy of the enemies represented by provoking riots and sabotage through its permanent presence in the arena.
