Support Gaza in the Heart: Dubai Cares Ramadan Campaign

The Palestinian Business Council in Dubai and the Northern Emirates announced its support for “Gaza in the Heart,” Dubai Cares’ Ramadan campaign aimed at raising funds to provide emergency relief to the residents of Gaza.

The Council’s support includes launching a large-scale “communication and communication” campaign with the Palestinian community in the Emirates and citizens and residents of the country, to contribute to the “Gaza in the Heart” campaign, and to donate to their afflicted brothers in Gaza.

The Council, in cooperation with partners and supporters, will launch promotional advertising and awareness campaigns and employ a group of content makers and influencers on social networks, to urge the public to donate to the campaign, in accordance with the directives of “Dubai Cares”, a civil society organization officially affiliated with the United Nations Department of Global Communications (UN DGC). Through approved channels, including donating via SMS via “Etisalat from e&” and “du”, or the website. www.dubaicares.aeOr direct financial donation by bank deposit into the Dubai Cares account or by check addressed to Dubai Cares.

The Council will also organize a special Ramadan evening to collect donations from those invited directly to the campaign, on Saturday, March 23, at 10 pm in Sheikh Maktoum Hall, Dubai World Trade Centre.

Dr. Tariq Mohammed Al Gurg, CEO and Vice Chairman of Dubai Cares, said: “The people of Gaza face a severe shortage of food security and shelter in light of the ongoing conflict that has claimed thousands of lives and displaced more than 1.9 million.

As part of the UAE’s humanitarian efforts to provide urgent aid to the Palestinian people, Dubai Cares launched the “Gaza in the Heart” campaign to collect donations, with which we aim to provide a platform for the UAE community to unite efforts and provide tangible and urgent support.”

Malek Melhem, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Palestinian Business Council, said: “Our support for the campaign comes from the duty that we have in the Council towards our people in Palestine in general and Gaza in particular.”
