The Secretary-General of “Hezbollah”, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, saluted all the movements that took place in support of the Holy Qur’an after the abusive practices that took place against it in Sweden, indicating that if the Swedish government did not take any measures to curb the attacks on the Holy Book, then it would be classified as a state fighting Islam and Muslims.

Nasrallah’s words came during the commemoration of the fifth night of Ashura ceremonies in the southern suburbs, when he said: “We must note all the previous moves that came out in support of the Holy Quran, and the Iraq initiative was the most important at the official level by summoning the Iraqi Chargé d’Affairs from Sweden. Likewise, Iran refused to receive the new Swedish ambassador in Tehran, while the Swedish ambassador’s departure from Lebanon is an important matter, and the Lebanese ambassador’s stay in Sweden in Beirut is also an essential step.”

He continued, “We must not be deceived by the Swedish and Danish apologies, as this is not enough, and these governments must prevent these abusive behaviors.”

Likewise, Nasrallah indicated that Lebanon does not tolerate any shocks, small or large, calling on the enthusiastic youth because of what happened in Sweden not to take any individual initiatives so that no one would be allowed to fish in troubled waters.

He continued, “If the assessment is correct that the Israeli Mossad is behind what happened in Sweden, then we are facing a movement that will continue and needs strong positions, popularly and officially. Together, we can keep up with this battle and reach the day when we prevent any insult to our symbols and sanctities.”
