Adel Abdel Aziz, managing director of the General Company for Wholesale Trade at the Ministry of Supply, said that according to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives regarding the expansion of social protection, EGP 100 will be added to the family’s food support cards.
Abdel Aziz added, in a telephone interview to the “Ninth” program with the journalist Youssef Al-Husseini, on the first channel of the Egyptian TV, that the number of ration cards that include one family exceeds 7 million, while the number of beneficiaries of the exceptional grant directed by President Sisi, to the deserving families. to 36 million beneficiaries.
He continued, “The number of food commodities with ration cards has reached 30 commodities, following adding 5 new commodities, namely, flour, white tahini, vegetable margarine, tuna and jam of all kinds, provided that this will be implemented as of next September 1.”
