Asuncion, IP Agency.- The Government, through the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, provided supplies and implements for more than G. 1.3 billion to producers of the June 13 Committee of Horqueta; to the Association of Northern Rural Women, the Arroyito Settlement Rural Community Association and to the National Agricultural Development Program Project.
The award ceremony was chaired by the head of the agricultural portfolio, Carlos Giménez, during the work day he held in the department of Concepción.
In order to boost the economy through family farming, the head of the agricultural portfolio delivered supplies and implements worth Gs. 367,460,000 to producers from the association of Northern Rural Women.
They include 53 350-litre visiculers; a cheese press with a 1-kilo mould; electric scales; protective clothing equipment; a stainless steel table, a silage cutter, a mincer and a 20-litre steel pan with a lid, among others.
Previously, members of the June 13-Horqueta committee, through its head, Carlos Giménez, delivered agricultural supplies and implements consisting of 33 300-liter visiculers, the same number of cheese presses with 1 to 2 kilo molds; 33 20-kilo scales and stainless steel tables, among others, with an investment of Gs. 400,705,000.
Minister Giménez also delivered a 2,000-litre remountable cistern tank to members of the Peasant Community Association of the Arroyito Settlement, for transporting milk, with a pumping system and suction hose.
In addition to the truck with a load capacity of 4.5 tons; artificial insemination equipment with a 20-liter thermos; a chopper and silage harvester with a gasoline engine, with an investment of 400 million guaraníes.
Likewise, supplies of zinc sheets, top quality bricks and cement of national origin, drinking fountains, pigs and balanced feed, with an investment of 132,462,000 guaraníes, were delivered by the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock to the National Livestock Development Program.
