It adopts the new Zen 4 architecture central processing unit (CPU). TSMC (2330) has won a large contract for the 5nm process, and AMD is expected to remain firmly in the top 3 customers of TSMC this year.
In addition, AMD’s Ryzen 7000 desktop processor is also equipped with a new I/O multi-core, built-in RDNA2 GPU, DDR5 controller, PCIe 5.0 controller and other technologies, produced by TSMC’s 6nm process. The supply chain pointed out that Super Micro will start the transition from 7nm and 6nm to 5nm this year, and 5nm will be put into production in the fourth quarter.
