“Supermarket Inflation: Test Achats Reports 20.1% Price Increase in April 2023”

20,1% : this is the average increase in prices in supermarkets observed by Test Achats for the month of April 2023, compared to the month of April 2022. This is a slight drop in inflation measured by the defense association of consumers, which analyzes the evolution of the prices of approximately 3,000 references in Belgian stores, including Carrefour, Colruyt, Cora, Delhaize, Aldi and Lidl. Indeed, for the month of March, the record had been beaten: +20.6%, inflation in supermarkets never seen before.
