Superbonus, the anger of 70 families: “17 million euros spent to have homes devastated”

Lacchiarella (Milan) – 70 families on the warpath of two buildings in via Togliatti in Lacchiarella interested by 110% work. After the alarm of the 900 families in Pieve who were victims of the Super Bonus 110, they realized that they were not the only ones whose homes were gutted by the works. But if in Pieve the numbers are decidedly strong: 900 families for about 200 million euros of works and three years of construction. In Lacchiarella the numbers are lower. We are talking about 17 million euros of works, but the situation is perhaps even worse. The company is the same one that operates in Pieve, Fenice.

The Mayor Antonella Violi but he issued an ordinance to protect citizens: has proceeded to order the resumption of work due to safety and hygiene problems that the construction site is causing to condominiums and other citizens of Lacchiarella. The mayor has also ordered the presentation of the Scia of commencement of work.

“We have no balconies, swithout mosquito nets and without awningsthe old coat has been removed and the panels have been uncovered for 2 years now – they explain Lorenzo Meli and his wife Simona -. From the condominium administrator Miotti of the Asa studio in Fizzonasco we had no support at all, only obvious obstructionism when we said we would turn to a lawyer. In three years he did nothing to counter the fact that the construction site was not moving forward, indeed, at every meeting, also attended by the managers of Fenice, we were assured that the work would be finished by 2021, then 2022, 2023 and finally 2024”.

“We have rats everywhere and we can’t don’t even put the air conditioners on – explains Donated Cirone -. We are waiting to see what the lawyer will tell us and what will happen on September 1st when the mayor’s order expires, which they have not complied with so far”. In the end, 14 families from the buildings on Via Togliatti turned to a lawyer. The lawyer sent a certified email to the administrator, but never received a response. “Here our nervous system goes haywire and anxiety rises,” explains Mariangela Demattia. “We are prisoners in our own home and I can’t even invite my son and his grandchildren over.”

“Even today we are without a program and we do not have a date for resuming work. First we were talking about April, then June and now September – explains Laura Del Bianco -. Here we have seen 4 or 5 workers at most. We are abandoned by everyone, but not by our mayor. This affair will end up in the Prosecutor’s Office”. The future, the citizens of Lacchiarella, see it black. A disgrace. Between the nightmare of uninhabitable houses and the pressure to “not file a complaint because the lawsuits could last up to 10 years”.
