Super League: Servette concedes a draw against Lucerne – rts.ch

Servette FC did not win a fifth game in a row at home. Despite Derek Kutesa’s opener, the Garnets had to settle for a draw in front of Lucerne (1-1).

This result puts an end to the good series of the Genevans, who had taken 12 points at La Praille thanks to their success in front of St-Gall, Winterthur, Grasshoppers and Zurich. After a good start rewarded by the success of Kutesa in the 30th on an assist from … his goalkeeper Jérémy Frick, Servette FC gave up control of the match to the opponent.

The Lucerne thus equalized precisely on the hour mark through Max Meyer. The German international pulled off a classy move to find Frick’s side netting. A week after their defeat in Lugano, Servette FC are still dropping points to now be 5 points behind Young Boys. Second, however, it is 3 points ahead of St-Gall and Sion.
