Jasmine Flury narrowly misses her third World Cup podium in the second Super-G in Kvitfjell. The downhill world champion is pushed out of the top 3 by the Austrian outsiders Nina Ortlieb, Stephanie Venier and Franziska Gritsch.
Ortlieb (car number 31) leads the classification following 42 drivers ahead of her compatriots Venier (29) and Gritsch (26). Flury, who with the normally unfavorable start number 1 also found better conditions than the top favorites, but worse than the drivers with higher numbers, is only in 6th place. Wendy Holdener is eighth, Stephanie Jenal tenth, Corinne Suter twelfth.
The riders who were also in a good position alongside Suter in the fight for the small crystal globe are in 12th place (Elena Curtoni, at the same time as Suter), 14th (Cornelia Hütter), 15th (Ragnhild Mowinckel), 20th (Lara Gut). -Behrami) and 21 (Federica Brignone).
