Super Catboy gameplay trailer and new Steam demo released

Publisher Assemble Entertainment releases a new Super Catboy gameplay trailer reminiscent of the golden SNES days. Also, a new Steam demo is available until the end of this week as part of the Steam Next Fest playable.

What are you expecting?

The game is regarding Super Catboy who has to stop his creator Dr. wants to stop unnecessarily. He breeds humanoid attack dogs in his laboratory in order to take over the world. Together with Weapongirl, Super Catboy attempts the dark machinations of Dr. stop naughty! Despite his cuteness, Super Catboy is not to be underestimated, he can attack and claw in close combat or shoot at a distance to defeat the dangerous attack dogs. He can also climb, jump, hold on to walls, shimmy, dash and much more. In order to offer more variety, the platforming is loosened up by bonus levels in which the players have to master fast-paced chases on motorbikes, for example. Or how regarding a ride in a mine cart á la Donkey Kong Country? Super Catboy offers varied locations in a charming pixel art style, from snowy mountains to incredible underwater worlds and beautiful forests to the secret laboratory of Dr. naughty.

Super Catboy is an indie action-platformer in high-bit pixel art style, inspired by the legendary 16-bit platformer era of the 90’s and extends the winning formula of the legends of that time with lots of fresh ideas. The “Run and Gun” will be released in the summer of 2022 Steam and GOG.
