It mightn’t have been more exciting for millions of football fans. Both semi-finals of the American professional league NFL went into overtime. The Los Angeles Rams defeated the New Orleans Saints 26-23. Los Angeles Rams playmaker quarterback Jared Goff told Fox following the win: “We fought back – down 0:13 – our defense helped – unbelievable.”
Brady and Goff: A Duel of Generations
In the second semifinal, the New England Patriots defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 37-31. This is New England’s third consecutive Super Bowl final. The Patriots last won the championship in 2017. Quarterback Tom Brady told CBS that he was exhausted.
