“We are working hard to clear this backlog as quickly as possible. We assume that the time needed to pay overdue invoices will normalize in the coming weeks,” Sunrise UPC told Inside parade ground. The operator further apologizes for the temporary delay and is in discussion with suppliers.

Inside parade ground still believes that the business information service Teledata would report several lawsuits once morest Sunrise UPC. A spokesperson for the latter, however, retorts that these are only isolated proceedings and further specifies that the outstanding payments are made in all cases.
Some observers believe that the austerity policy of the parent company Liberty Global is the cause of these problems and affects investments in networks and in particular mobile. Since the absorption of Sunrise by UPC in 2020, the focus has indeed been on maximizing profits at any cost. And now, it is obviously not just the customers (the big losers of the merger) who bear the brunt!
