Precipitation is expected this weekend throughout Quebec, while a cold front should hit the west of the province this Saturday.

The greater Montreal area will see an alternation between sun and cloud on Friday with a maximum of 3°C. The sky will cloud over in the evening, giving way to a rainy and intermittent Saturday.
Some regions, such as the Laurentians, Mont-Laurier and Abitibi, might see a few snowflakes.
Then, a cold front accompanied by winds of 70 to 90 km/h will visit the greater metropolitan area and its surroundings at the end of the day, leaving behind intermittent snow and a maximum of -2°C for Sunday.
In the Capitale-Nationale and in central Quebec, Friday will be mainly sunny with an alternation of sun and clouds in La Tuque and Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean.
The sun should give way to clouds at the end of the evening, preparing the ground for a Saturday of snow mixed with rain in Quebec. Environment Canada also announces a risk of freezing rain in the morning with a maximum of 5°C.
A clearing is expected on the radar Sunday with intermittent snow in Drummondville, Mauricie and Quebec.
Chibougamau will be mostly cloudy this Friday with a 30% chance of showers. The rain will change to snow for Saturday and Sunday, with a high of -12°C.
