Sungjae Lim tied for 2nd place at the PGA Tour Championship… Best record for a Korean player of all time

Seongjae Lim tied for second place in the Tour Championship, the last tournament of the PGA Tour playoffs.

Sungjae Lim hit a 4 under par on the last day of the Tour Championship held at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, USA to score a total of 20 under par and shared runners-up with US Scottie Schaeffler.

Seongjae Lim entered the final 4 rounds, seven shots behind USA’s Scotty Schaeffler, who led the way through the 3rd round. McIlroy was six strokes behind Schaeffler until the third round, but on the last day boasted a terrifying concentration and won a dramatic comeback victory at 21-under.

Schaeffler showed his best performance throughout the season and advanced to the Tour Championship with 1st place, and even started the final round six strokes ahead of 2nd place, but his iron shot was shaken and he tied for 2nd place with Lim Sungjae.

McIlroy, who overtook Tiger Woods to win the third FedEx Cup, the most in history, received $18 million, or regarding 24.1 billion won, as a winning bonus.
