Sun Life Indonesia holds a program Color You Up in Jakarta. The presence of the program is a training platform for young people to face the world of work. Various self-development sessions and relevant skills are provided there.
Data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in 2024 recorded the unemployment rate in DKI Jakarta at 6.03%, ranking fourth nationally. Several factors that influence the high unemployment rate include population growth rate, mismatch between education and skills possessed and labor market needs, and limited number of jobs.
Program Color You Up is part of Sun Life Indonesia’s commitment to help the younger generation face these challenges, by developing their potential and helping them achieve financial stability. Not only providing supplies and training, the program is also a means to build a career, especially in the Indonesian bancassurance industry.
Chief Distribution Officer & Sharia Director of Sun Life Indonesia, Danning Wikanti, said that his party wants to help the government provide adequate training for the young generation in Jakarta.
“We also provide opportunities for them to join as Insurance Advisor at Sun Life Indonesia,” said Danning in a written statement, Tuesday (28/8).
Not only training, the program also offers a clear career path and the opportunity to join the Brighter Pro community, an elite club for Insurance Advisors who have achieved targets of more than 110% for six consecutive months. Sun Life believes the program Color You Up will be an effective platform to explore the best potential of the younger generation.
“We are holding the ‘Color You Up’ program in stages until September 10, 2024 and will reach five major cities in Indonesia. After Bandung, Jakarta, and Medan, we will then hold this program in Semarang and Surabaya,” added Danning. (Z-11)
