With the reform of the school rhythm, some feared that the course organizers were understaffed. And more specifically young people. But for these 2023 relaxation holidays, the trend is, on the contrary, to popular success. This is what emerges from the figures communicated by the CFS, organizer of many courses, which confirms that it was surprised by the enthusiasm.
“We have periods of 15 days which do not suit the parents in terms of work, but in addition, in Brussels, we have the problem of French-speakers and Dutch-speakers”tells us moreover Jacques Schils, operational manager of the CFS internship centers in Brussels, who feared that the effects of the reform would be felt. “Last week, we had much more success than this week, even if it remains a great success, with a good thousand registrations, which is huge, more important than the other years”he then tells us.
For children, it is a real pleasure. The proof with Louis, who has been learning to drive a segway since the beginning of the day. “I love having the opportunities to ride it and handle it. I love it”, he tells us. For its part, a group of girls especially celebrates the birth of beautiful friendships. “We met here at an internship. We became direct friends.”they tell us.
For everyone, it’s a moment of relaxation, away from school and away from parents, to enjoy the joys of the current sun.
