The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, today, Friday (26/7). He was summoned as a witness in the alleged corruption case of procurement of goods and services and cooperation at PT Telemedia Onyx Pratama (TOP).
It is known that Trenggono is a manager and shareholder in the company.
Currently, he has fulfilled the summons and is currently being questioned by investigators. Based on monitoring at the location, Trenggono arrived at the KPK’s Red and White Building at around 08.40 WIB. He was accompanied by a number of security protocols when fulfilling this summons.
This is the second summons for Trenggono. Previously, he was absent when his statement was needed by investigators on July 12.
The KPK has not detailed the information that investigators will probe Trenggono in the case. Referring to the anti-corruption agency’s rules, the information will only be revealed after the investigation is complete.
Until now, the KPK has not detailed the chronology of the case. However, there have been suspects named and detailed information will only be given to the public if the arrest is made. (Z-11)
