A few months following the birth of Dia’s child, Summer Dia started to change her lifestyle. The actress also asked for medical help to lose her extra pounds as healthily as possible. According to him, not only his body shape changed thanks to his lifestyle change, but also his personality, and new opportunities arose for him in his career as well.
„There were also new opportunities in terms of roles, which probably wouldn’t have happened if I hadn’t made a decision regarding my figure. As much as it hurts to say it, the appearance of an actress also influences what roles are assigned to her. My former self would probably never have gotten the role of Betty in Hotel Margaret, who had to appear in a bikini in almost every scene.” – declared Dia, who added that in her early to mid-twenties she was rejected from many roles due to her rounder figure, but she is not angry with herself for that.
