Music from Modest Musorgskijs to John Williams awaits the audience at the concert of the orchestra and the musical group from Superar in Vienna on June 1, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., at MuTh.
With choirs, orchestras and a musical group, which is open to anyone who is interested, the Superar association offers children from a wide variety of backgrounds free access to musical support. Making music together not only unleashes the individual potential of the children, but also overcomes social and cultural differences as well as language barriers.
The pieces of music that the children from Superar in Vienna rehearsed together in the 2021/22 school year will be performed once more in the MuTh, the concert hall of the Vienna Boys’ Choir, before the start of the summer holidays.
The orchestra with strings, woodwinds and percussion as well as the musical group from Superar in Vienna present a varied repertoire from classical to film music to pop in the concert.
In addition to excerpts from Modest Musorgskij’s composition “Pictures at an Exhibition”, Impromptus for string orchestra by Jean Sibelius and the title melody of the film “Jurassic Park”, pop songs will also be performed that were performed in Superar’s musical production “Never Ever Land” in May 2022.
After the concert, Superar invites the audience to a reception in the MuTh foyer.
