Sharjah: The summer camp trip organized for children under the leadership of the Malayalam community of St. Michael’s Catholic Church will begin on the 19th of this month. The summer camp is led by the Malayalam Parish Committee headed by Fr. Jose Vattukulam. The camp will end on 24th of this month. Registration help desks will also be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Fr. Jim Thomas OCD, Dr. Various classes will be conducted by Vipin Roldant, Jeet George etc. A poster has also been released in connection with the camp.
The aim of the camp is to provide answers to the mental and spiritual crises and challenges of the children and to provide spiritual stimulation.
A session called ‘School of Holy Spirit’ is being prepared for older children. It will enable the children to prepare themselves to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit who dwells in us and is the temple of the living God. In addition, summer camp can help guide children to the importance of the Holy Eucharist.
Apart from the children, the camp will also have a special session for the parents. A special seminar is also organized for parents to answer the psychological problems faced by parents during this period and to renew them in the Holy Spirit.
