Summer activities continue at the Sarmiento Popular Library

Until Friday, February 25, the special hours will be maintained from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., for the use of the reading rooms; the service of loan and return of books. On Tuesdays and Thursdays the ‘Tales with Magic’ are presented; on Fridays the Drawing, Caricatures and Manga Workshop, among other proposals.

The Sarmiento Popular Library continues to carry out various activities during its summer hours, from 11 am to 6 pm until next Friday, February 25.
In a dialogue with EDFM, the president of the Board of Directors, Miriam Camponovo, specified that “at that time the reading rooms are available for the use of members and the community in general; there will be reference assistance; service of loans and return of books and can also carry out procedures for partners”.
Among the activities that take place in the Library, “on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 4 to 5 p.m., the ‘Tales with Magic’ for children are presented, with different themes that have to do with wands, brooms, clubs and growls”, Camponovo noted.
“This activity takes place in the Children’s Room, without prior registration, and minors must be accompanied by an adult,” he added.
On the other hand, he mentioned that “on Fridays the Drawing, Caricatures and Manga Workshop is being developed, with Professor César for children and adolescents”, and added the contact 2901-545358 to make inquiries.
He also announced that “this Thursday, February 24, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. there will be an open talk on Muslim culture, by Adila Ahmad, president of the Organization of Women of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.”
To conclude, the President of the Library’s Board of Directors indicated that “we are already putting together the agenda of activities for the month of March”, and invited the community “to join the social networks to learn more regarding each proposal, and approach the Library, which belongs to everyone”, he closed.
