On Thursday, the inauguration of the election campaign of the candidate for the Mayor of Chorzów – Szymon Michałek – took place in Chorzów. During the event, Szymon Michałek presented his electoral program based on eight pillars focused on the most important issues for the city. The “My Chorzów – Our Chorzów” program met with great interest from residents.
“Our program was created thanks to conversations with you (…) Chorzów gave me education, gave me my family and friends, so I want to repay our city.” – said Szymon Michałek during his speech.
400 Chorzów residents took part in the inauguration live, and 2,000 people watched the online broadcast of the event.
At the end of the main part of the speech, Szymon Michałek emphasized that he was a non-party candidate and that he would be the President always open to the voice of the residents. During the event, the “Szymon Michałek Team” – candidates for the City Council – were also presented.
