Four months after its last event of its kind, PlayStation returned with its first State of Play post-announcement of the PS5 Pro, which was of course discussed. But not only that, new games were also presented. A look back at the main announcements in pictures.
Astro Bot
The recently released game (and of which our review can be read here) already announces a free update with 5 speedrun levels and 10 new bots to rescue.
Ghost of Yohtei
After the critically acclaimed Ghost of Tsushima (also by our test), the Sucker Punch studio has announced a sequel with exclusive first images of the game. We discover a new heroine and a new region to discover. The new ride will take place in 2025 on PS5.
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered
It arrives on October 31 on PS5 with graphic and sound improvements, it is the remaster of Horizon Zero Dawn.
LEGO Horizon Adventures
Aloy will also soon be entitled to an adventure in the world of Lego, namely from November 14 on PS5, but also expected on PC and Switch. Pre-orders will soon be available with their bundle of bonuses.
PS5 Pro
Of course, a must for the PS5 Pro which comes out on November 7. A video to present several games that will benefit from the improvements made possible by the console.
New colors
Three new colors for Dualsense and console fronts (Slim models). The Chroma Pearl and Chroma Indigo accessories will be available on November 7, 2024, the Chroma Teal accessories will be available on January 23, 2025. The price: €79.99 for the controllers, €64.99 for the fronts.
Alan Wake 2: Lake House
An expansion for Alan Wake 2 which will take place on the slopes of Cauldron Lake. Arrival planned for October.
ArcheAge Chronicles
A new Action-RPG opus in the ArcheAge series announced for 2025 on PS5.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard
A new trailer for the EA game which arrives October 31 on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
Dynasty Warriors: Origins
And a release date. A ! With the next Dynasty Warrios which will arrive on January 17, 2025 on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
The Neo Dimension of Fantasy
A certain Hironobu Sakaguchi (creator of Final Fantasy), will offer his new J-RPG on December 5, on PS4, PS5, Xbox One Xbox Series, Switch and PC.
Fear the Spotlight
A horrific game arriving on October 22 (not far from the 31st) on PS4, PS5, Xbox One Xbox Series, Switch and PC.
Fortnite
A DS5 controller in Fortnite colors at preco from October 3.
Hell is Us
A bit of gameplay for the game which will give players a lot of freedom according to Jonathan Jacques-Belletête, creative director and artistic director at Rogue Factor. The game is expected on PS5 but also Xbox Series and PC.
Hitman World of Assassination
21 Agent 47 destination will be available in VR starting in December.
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered
Legendary games if necessary, remasters are coming for both Soul Reaver to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the license. It will be under the leadership of Aspyr who is responsible, among other things, for the remasters of the first three Tomb Raider (see our test).
Lunar Remastered Collection
Still 25 years, but this time after the last opus of the Lunar saga, here is a remaster arriving with two opuses: Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete. Announced for spring 2025.
Metro Awakening
Return to PSVR2, with the arrival of Metro Awakening on November 7.
Monster Hunter Wilds
A new trailer for the game which will be released…tada…on February 28, 2025 on PS5 as well as on Xbox Series and PC.
Palworld
Despite the bickering with Nintendo, Palworl is now available on PS5!
Stellar Blade
A Stellar Blade x NieR: Automata DLC for which all the information and release date are still to come. But it’s in the pipeline.
The Midnight Walk
New announcement, in a dark fantasy adventure in modeling clay. Scheduled for spring 2025 on PS5 and PSVR2.
TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge – Radical Reptiles
Two new characters arrive with this DLC for the game TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge (our test here). It is already available.
Sonic X Shadow Generations
A DLC featuring Shadow which will be released on December 12 under the name Sonic X Shadow Generations Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Movie Pack. It will celebrate the upcoming release of the Sonic 3 movie.
Towers of Aghasba
An open-ended adventure game that we can discover during its early access next November on PS5.
