The Sumfest festival announced this Friday, June 2, 2023 the Lineup of its 5th edition which will be held this year in Florida. After successfully hosting four editions in Haiti, organizers made the decision to relocate to Historic Virginia Key Beach Park due to ongoing insecurity in Haiti.

Scheduled for July 16, 2023, Sumfest promises an unforgettable musical experience with a host of renowned artists. The event, once known as a Haitian music festival, has evolved into a true Caribbean music festival straight from Haiti, as the official poster indicates.

The headliners of this edition are Kalash, Ruger and Ding Dong. But that’s not all ! They will be accompanied by artists and musical groups such as T-Vice, Kreyòl la, Rutshelle, Vayb, Kai, Gabel, Roody Roodboy, Baky, Kdilak, Bedjine, Charlin Bato, DroxYani, Izolan, Anie Alerte, J Perry, Florence , Kenny Haiti, Andybeatz, Big Fa, Tonymix, Ti Babas, DonHot, Dj Bullet, Dj Stakz, Magic Kenny, Teddymix, Dj Marz, Dj K9, Dj Heavy, Valmix, Ted Bounce, Mr Mario and Rara Lakay.

The program therefore promises to be rich and varied, with artists from different musical genres, guaranteeing a good atmosphere throughout the day. Haitian and Caribbean music lovers should be delighted by this unique experience.

With a more open framework for this first edition outside of Haiti, the festival should attract a large audience made up of the Caribbean community, in particular members of the Haitian community already present in Florida. In addition, new Haitian arrivals on American soil through the humanitarian immigration program set up at the beginning of the year should also participate in the event.

Sumfest 2023 is shaping up to be one of the major music events of the year, celebrating the richness of Haitian and Caribbean music and culture.
