Sumar Plan: drug deliveries stopped in Mariano Roque Alonso

Asuncion, IP Agency.- Special Agents from the Urban Operations Directorate of the National Anti-Drug Secretariat raided a house in the Monseñor Bogarín neighborhood of Mariano Roque Alonso, where a drug dealing scheme was operating that used false food delivery men to deliver narcotics. These operations are carried out within the framework of the Sumar Plan, promoted by the Government.

Two people identified as Juan Carlos Gómez Franco, 29 years old, and Aldo Javier Quiñónez Martínez, 23 years old, were arrested at the scene. They were found to be in possession of 55 doses of cocaine ready for sale and more than 3 kilos of skunk marijuana distributed in several bags.

During the operation coordinated by prosecutor Marco Amarilla, a motorcycle, several cell phones and a precision scale were also seized.

The dismantled outbreak is believed to be part of a drug trafficking scheme also characterized by violent actions in the area, Senad reported.
