Sumar: “Concerned, caring parents” completed training against drug use

Asuncion, IP Agency.- Parents of students from the National School of Capiatá completed the series of workshops “Concerned Parents Who Take Care,” a training course promoted by the Comprehensive Prevention Directorate of the National Anti-Drug Secretariat (Senad), within the framework of the Sumar Plan undertaken by the Government to combat drug and other types of narcotic use among young people and adolescents.

Parents participated in 4 training sessions in which they were provided with knowledge and tools for preventing drug use within the family, with parents as strategic allies.

Senad Vice Minister Esteban Caselli participated in the closing event and presented certificates to the “outstanding parents” who completed their training. The aim is to extend the network of parents to educational centers throughout the country.
