Muscat: Sultan Haitham bin Tariq’s visit to the UAE will begin on Wednesday. According to a statement issued by the Dewan of the Royal Court, the Sultan is going to the UAE on the invitation of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
GCC leaders, King Abdullah II of Jordan, President of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and others are participating in the fraternal meeting of the Sultan.
An official delegation including the Minister of Diwan of Royal Court, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, the Minister of Royal Office, General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Numani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, and the Ambassador of Oman to the UAE, Sayyid Ahmed Bin Hilal Al Busaidi will accompany the Sultan.
