Yesterday, His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, laid the foundation stone for the Charitable Endowment of Hope project launched by the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority so that its annual proceeds will be a charitable endowment for the treatment of sick cases that are raised through the “Pain and Hope” program. .
During the laying of the foundation stone, His Highness was briefed on the detailed plans of the Waqf Al-Amal project, which consists of a commercial building located in the Muwailih area and consists of four floors, including the ground floor. The building will carry a modern classic design and will include 26 housing units that were approved following studying the market within the same area, in addition to 6 shops serving the residents of the building and the surrounding area.
The laying of the foundation stone was attended by Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority, Rashid Abdullah Al Obed, Director of the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority, Hassan Yaqoub Al Mansouri, Secretary General of the Sharjah Media Council, and a number of directors of channels, radios and departments in the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority.

The Endowment of Hope project is one of the pioneering initiatives of the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority as part of its continuous efforts to achieve its mission in media work and enhance its social and humanitarian role emanating from the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. Disease cases presented within the Pain and Hope program, and a sustainable element in the availability of financial support for diseased cases.
