Hikers stuck overnight on the summit of Sulfur Mountain in Canada’s Banff National Park, visited by hundreds each year. The cable cars carrying tourists to the mountain had to be suspended due to power outages due to severe thunderstorms and storms.

Among those who had to spend a whole night in fear on top of the mountain were regarding 100 people, including a couple who went out to take pictures from the mountain immediately following their wedding. Unfortunately, on their wedding night, they had to spend the night on the cold floor of the cable service’s Summit Lodge. Travelers also complained that they did not get food or blankets for the whole night. The adventurous hours came to the outside world through a video shot by one of the stranded travelers.

All were rescued by helicopter the next day. However, many are now criticizing the company for not handling the unexpected situation well and demanding compensation.
