Vice presidential candidate number 3 Mahfud MD emphasized that the lawsuit that the TPN Ganjar-Mahfud Legal Team will soon register with the Constitutional Court (MK) is not to win the presidential election. His party accepted the results of the presidential election, but there were a number of notes that were deemed to have damaged democracy during the election process that needed to be straightened out.

“What we did at the Constitutional Court was not to become winners but pure election, the future of democracy, the generation for the next 100 years can be healthy,” he said at a press conference, Thursday (21/3). According to him, the TPN Legal Team has prepared evidence that will be brought to the Constitutional Court.

All of this was obtained from various public reports which have been verified one by one. “And this must be revealed in the legal theater called the Constitutional Court. We will reveal it for the sake of the future of democracy,” he stressed.

Mahfud said that this election was the most brutal election. Since the reform era, no election has been as bad as the current one with various reckless power interventions.

“This current election is different. According to many experts, very senior political actors, it is the most brutal election. Because there was no previous election like this, where the authorities stepped down, officials stepped down, even though they said they were not campaigning, the content definitely felt like a campaign. Moreover, there were threats, so it was considered the most brutal election,” he said. (Z-2)
