Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League I suffered yesterday filtracin of a screenshot that indicated that the title would have a video game as a service approachsomething that set off alarm bells for players because it is a business model that, in general terms, has not worked too well for certain titles with similar themes such as Marvel’s Avengers. Rocksteady, the study in charge of its development, has not been slow to address the leak and has tried to calm the players in recent statements for the media. VGC.
This is the apparent leaked home screen for Kill the Justice League. The thing to note is that it came from 4Chan, the same place where those atrocious fake “leaks” were posted. Take this with the tiniest grain of salt in the world. pic.twitter.com/V8WVa9tttQ Mr. Wayne???? (@ArkhamNumb) January 17, 2023
Regarding the battle pass that appeared in the filtered screenshot, Rocksteady comments that this is exclusively linked to cosmetic items. In the image that we are discussing, six different game currencies also appeared near the top of the screen, a detail that the study wanted to focus on, clarifying that at least four of those coins are exclusive to each character and that will serve as experience points to unlock skills.
“You don’t start off weak and handicapped. You just start off great and can become ridiculous, like Batman from Arkham Knight“, aadi a VGC a developer who works on Suicide Squad.
Everything we know regarding Suicide Squad
“Previous Rocksteady games were characterized by a much darker atmosphere, since Batman was the protagonist of the work and the gothic atmosphere was the one that had to reign. Although there were areas that contrasted a bit (by drops) it seems that the Suicide Squad will have a look very different from what has been seen to date present much larger, more colorful environments, with more lifeand we repeat, almost taken from Sunset Overdrive in too many ways,” we commented in our full advance.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be released for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC next May 26.
