Suga BTS It is certain that he will soon be enlisted in the military. Big Hit explained that the idol whose full name is Min Yoon-gi had started the registration process by submitting a cancellation of the postponement of military service.

Big Hit also asks for support and prayers from fans who are familiarly called ARMY ahead of Suga’s military enlistment process. The agency hopes that fans can support the idol from the beginning of basic military training to completing the military service.

On the other hand, the agency also ensures that it will support Suga’s conscription process from the beginning to the end of the idol’s term of office.

“We ask for continued love and support for Suga until he completes his military service and returns safely,” Big Hit wrote.

Suga is the third member of BTS who will undergo military service. Jin and J-Hope previously enlisted and are currently undergoing military service.

In South Korea, men aged 18-28 are required to serve in the military for two years under the Military Service Act 2020. Conscription itself lasts for 18-21 months.

The news of Suga’s enlistment came following he successfully held a series of solo tours titled Agust D Tour D Day in a number of cities around the world, including Jakarta.

In October 2022, Big Hit announced that BTS would make a full comeback in 2025, following the members decided to enlist in military service (wamil) starting with Jin.

However, for the time being, the agency has not been able to provide certainty regarding when the BTS comeback will occur.

“We and all members hope to be able to fully resume BTS activities in 2025. However, we ask for your understanding that it is very difficult to determine the exact time at this time,” Big Hit wrote in an official statement, Monday (17/10).

In an official statement, the military enlistment plan will start with Jin as the oldest member of the group.

Jin filed for cancellation of the postponement of the military service at the end of October and entered the army in December 2022. Then J-Hope joined the army in April 2023.

Big Hit explained that for now BTS will focus on the individual activities of each member for some time to come. This activity is in line with each member’s conscription schedule which is planned to end in 2025.
