In 2022, while many automobile segments witnessed turmoil in the sales race, the 7-seat SUV segment in Vietnam was quite stable. The competition is still mainly between Toyota Fortuner and Ford Everest, the results are still not surprising.

The reason for this decrease in sales stems from the fact that the popular car model in 2021 – VinFast Lux SA2.0 has officially stopped distribution in Vietnam since mid-2022.
However, if you analyze the sales data of each model in detail, it can be seen that the 7-seat SUV segment in Vietnam last year was still quite prosperous, when the remaining 4 models all had growth in sales. number. In particular, Toyota Fortuner continues to maintain its position of the best-selling car model with a total of 7,653 vehicles delivered to customers, an increase of about 1,300 vehicles compared to last year.
Toyota Fortuner is still the best-selling model in the 7-seater SUV segment in Vietnam in 2022, but the “kingdom” is threatened by rival Ford Everest.
However, the new Ford Everest is the most impressive 7-seater SUV in 2022. Because, after launching a new generation with a completely “makeover” design and many technological additions, this model has established ie there was a “sprint” at the end of the year and for many months surpassed rival Toyota Fortuner to become the leading model in sales.
As a result, by the end of December 2022, Ford dealers nationwide have sold nearly 7,000 vehicles, only about 500 vehicles behind Toyota Fortuner.
Ford Everest promises to be the most popular 7-seater SUV in Vietnam in 2023
