With the song “eldorado”, the group Sudden Lights announces its biggest concert so far in Arena Riga on November 15 of next year. It will be a great gathering on the eve of next year’s Latvian holiday. The new song is already the second single from the upcoming studio album.
“The song ‘eldorado’ is about the transitory nature of things and us being in the middle of it all. We are not sure that the city of gold really exists and yet we really wish it did. Special moments and special people make us believe that life is beautiful , even if only for a moment. And “eldorado” has drawn us in like a mysterious treasure city since the day the first sketches were made,” says Sudden Lights.
The concert in Arena Riga will be a long-awaited event for which the guys have already started preparing with great enthusiasm. “It’s been a long time since our last concert, and we have accumulated a charge of emotions that will raise the roof of the entire arena! It will be Sudden Lights’ biggest concert, not only in terms of scale, but also in terms of the amplitude of emotions. Songs from our upcoming new album and the highlights of Sudden Lights will be played tracks from previous albums,” the musicians promise. “Light has been the guiding principle throughout all our activities, and it is light that we will celebrate on the eve of next year’s Latvian holiday at a concert in Arena Riga.”
In cooperation with Spilva, a video was also created for the song “eldorado”, which continues the cinematic work of art – the series of videos for the Sudden Lights album. The video was made on 16 mm film. The director of the clip, Edgars Kharitonchenko, explains the purpose of the clip: “At times, each of us lacks the courage to allow ourselves to go outside the ordinary, to play, to be frivolous, in order to deal with serious matters.
Just as any child needs an adult to support and encourage, to help them see hope, adults also need support to encourage their inner child. And sometimes a seemingly insignificant thing like clothes requires a lot of courage. And it’s not the dress itself that gives strength, but the courage to afford to wear it! Courage to rise above society’s standards allows you to feel your strength and encourage others.”
The song is available on all streaming platforms. Tickets for the concert in Arena Riga are available on all Ekase sales platforms.

Sudden Lights to Shine Bright at Arena Riga!
Grab your glittering outfits and put on your best party hat, folks, because Sudden Lights is coming to Arena Riga on November 15 next year! Yes, you heard that right. This isn’t just any concert; this is THE concert. If you’ve been waiting patiently, twiddling your thumbs since their last gig—well, it’s time to adjust that seating position, because things are about to get seriously emotional!
The Pulsating Heart of “eldorado”
With their new single, “eldorado,” Sudden Lights is diving into the deep end, and they’re taking us all along for the ride. Have you ever wondered if there truly is a city of gold? Well, the band’s pondering that very question while also reminding us that finding sparks of beauty—like that time you found a tenner in your coat pocket—is what keeps us going.
They said, “Special moments and special people make us believe that life is beautiful, even if only for a moment.” Well, isn’t that sweet? Like a lollipop sold at a grown-up price! Leave it to the boys to transform existential angst into a toe-tapping anthem.
Expect the Unexpected at Arena Riga
The concert isn’t just a flash-in-the-pan moment; it’s a centerpiece of a larger celebration—think of it as a pre-party for next year’s Latvian holiday. And don’t get it twisted; this isn’t like your weekly karaoke night at the local pub. There’s that unmistakable energy that truly signifies a Sudden Lights show. Prepare for an avalanche of emotions and songs from their upcoming album, as well as those oldies but goodies you’ve been belting out in the shower.
The lads are practically bubbling with enthusiasm, teasing us with promises of an experience that will “raise the roof of the entire arena!” Now, I don’t know about you, but I’m already trying to locate my earplugs. Consider yourself warned!
Cinematic Creativity with a Hint of Courage
In collaboration with Spilva, they’ve created a music video for “eldorado” that’s apparently a cinematic masterpiece shot on 16 mm film. Because why use digital when you can make things difficult for yourself, right? Director Edgars Kharitonchenko explains that the video aims to invite people to step outside the mundane, tap into their inner child, and embrace their quirks. Honestly, it sounds like a therapy session, but with better music!
The most poignant takeaway? “Sometimes a seemingly insignificant thing like clothes requires a lot of courage.” Who knew a pair of trousers could pack such a punch? It’s not the dress that grants you strength; it’s the courage to actually wear it. So, let’s dust off those neon jeans and channel our inner rock stars!

The band Sudden Lights is set to electrify their fans with the announcement of their most anticipated concert to date at Arena Riga on November 15 of next year. This high-profile event comes just before next year’s Latvian holiday, making it a significant gathering for music lovers. The new single, titled “eldorado,” marks the second release from their soon-to-be-launched studio album.
The essence of “eldorado” revolves around the fleeting nature of life and our desires, weaving a narrative filled with longing. Sudden Lights expresses a sentiment that echoes through their lyrics: “We’re uncertain about the existence of a mythical city of gold, yet we deeply yearn for it. It’s the special moments and cherished individuals who make us perceive life’s beauty, even if only for a fleeting moment. Since its inception, ‘eldorado’ has enchanted us like a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered.”
The upcoming concert at Arena Riga promises to be a monumental occasion for the band, who are already pouring their hearts into the preparations. “It’s been far too long since our last performance, and we’re bursting with emotions ready to electrify the venue! This concert will not only be our largest in scale, but also an emotional high point, featuring tracks from our new album alongside beloved classics from previous works,” the band guarantees. “Light has consistently been our guiding principle, and we will embrace this theme brilliantly as we celebrate the upcoming Latvian holiday.”
In an exciting collaboration with Spilva, the video for “eldorado” has been crafted to extend the cinematic narrative established by the preceding visuals for the Sudden Lights album. Filmed on vintage 16 mm film, the project takes on a modern twist. Director Edgars Kharitonchenko elaborates on the creative vision behind the video: “Often, we lack the bravery to step outside the ordinary, to embrace playfulness that helps us tackle life’s serious challenges.
A child requires an adult’s guidance to nourish hope, and similarly, adults yearn for that kind of support to reconnect with their own inner child. Sometimes, even a simple decision like choosing an outfit demands a bold heart. It’s not merely about the dress; it’s having the courage to wear it! Such courage empowers us to transcend societal expectations and embolden others to do the same.”
Visible on all major streaming platforms, “eldorado” is poised to resonate with audiences everywhere. For avid concert-goers, tickets to the Arena Riga event can be purchased through all Ekase sales channels.
