He added that the central hospitals in Khartoum were greatly affected, as the clashes took place inside cities and main roads, especially hospitals close to the leadership and military services sites, in addition to some hospitals in the interlocking sites east of the Nile, south of Khartoum, and Omdurman, and became out of service.
He explained that the total number of hospitals in Khartoum is regarding 130 public and private hospitals, and according to the daily report, a third of these hospitals are out of service and the other hospitals do not function adequately, as they barely perform emergency operations and are staffed with medical staff on an ongoing basis due to the difficulty of access for medical personnel and staff due to the lack of security of roads.
