The Sudanese army said that the military situation inside and outside Khartoum is very stable, except for the state of West Darfur, which witnessed a tribal conflict that is being dealt with by the local authorities.
The army added in a statement: “The enemy is still using the method of indiscriminate bombing of areas in central Khartoum, causing the destruction of some buildings and facilities, but without significant effectiveness from the point of view of operations, except for propaganda purposes.”
The statement added, “Our forces have taken control of most of the states, but the situation is a bit complicated in some parts of the capital, in terms of the fact that the rebels have mobilized most of their forces that were defeated there, and this is the reason for their large deployment there.”
In its statement, the army confirmed that the coming days will witness a major breakthrough in the situation on the ground.

On the other hand, the Rapid Support Forces said in a statement that the army attacked the Rapid Support Forces in the Kafouri area with air and artillery.
The statement added: “Our forces responded to the attack, and the attackers suffered heavy losses and chased them, as they were dispersed in different places and their military equipment was seized.”
The statement pointed out that “these attacks come in light of the humanitarian truce that has been allocated to open humanitarian corridors for citizens and residents who are nationals of brotherly and friendly countries.”
